I have about 2mbps download speed and like .5mpbs upload speed, is this good enough to game online with PC? Like i wanna play sports games i bought from gamestop like FIFA 12, Madden 12; ect. The PC game discs i bought at gamestop. Is this fast enough for online play?

Ping is the measure of time taken for the server to respond to your request. If it?s is less then 200 then you are good to go. Otherwise it will be a problem. The distance of server plays an important role so if you?re playing your games on a server in the same city you will get good response time.
I have played games on a 512 kbps internet connection and a 16 mbps internet connection andfound the first one better because the response time was less.
To check your Response time of a server open Command prompt, type ping (space) (Server IP).
